There are a couple of huge mistakes that will drive your article writing business right into the ground.

Would you like to know what article writing mistakes keep you from success?  Of course, we all do!

If you’re into the article writing business and have articles sitting out in cyberspace, you should be seeing at an average of one sale a month from those articles…that’s the average.   That’s if your article writing is doing what you need it to do.

If that’s not happening then we need to do some checking …

Here is the first big mistake that writers make when writing articles…

They don’t write about what’s written in the title…

You’ve lured your target into the article then left them flat by not giving them what they came searching for.  In short, your article writing has left them with nothing but a waste of time.

Here’s an example.  Let’s say you’re writing an article about tips for driving leads to their website on a budget…you wrote a great title, got them excited, then wrote the article about web design, or  an advertising campaign that ends up costing them big bucks.  You weren’t writing to their need, which was to drive traffic to their site.

You’ve totally let them down and they won’t be any too happy about it.  Your customers were looking for an article on “apples” and they got “oranges”.  When it comes to article writing there are some important things to consider, namely, your readers desires.

Here’s a tip for next time you write an article, do a little research on the many different ways to produce traffic and share them in the content.  It’s easy enough to do the research online and the information will really help your readers in their business venture, plus it will give them what they came looking for in your article.  They are happy…you are happy…BooYah!

The number two biggest mistake in writing an article would be…how you finish off …

The Author’s box Let’s say you write the article above and it was “smokin’ good”.  Had everything that they were looking for and they were ready for more.

Yuck…double yuck…this is not at all going to get the impact and action you were looking for…let’s take a look at putting the “fix-in” here. 

What’s going to work?

  • And Humor

You might want to say something like this:
